CSI worked collaboratively with the Shared Assessments Program (SAP) to deliver Questionnaire Manager for SIG (QM for SIG), formerly known as CSI SIG, the XML tool which not only reduces costs, but increases productivity and data integrity. The QM for SIG XML approach provides much needed capabilities when compared to using the SAP SIG spreadsheet approach.

The QM for SIG approach saves time and money for both the evaluating institution and their service providers. The first three items in the list on the right will result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in data entry savings for outsourcing institutions adopting the Shared Assessments Program process and requiring SIGs from between a dozen to several hundred service providers.

  • Employs an easy-to-use web interface to the SIG questionnaire with multi-user concurrent access for quicker, more accurate responses to the questions.
  • Allows response information to be easily loaded (without retyping or interpretation) into any form of IT risk management application.
  • Supports the conversion of SIGs completed in spreadsheet (Excel) format (Enterprise and Network Editions) to the QM for SIG XML format.
  • Provides a means for the automated verification of completeness and conformance to standards of the SIG document.
  • Makes the SIG document independent of any single commercial application software package or framework. This complements any of the IT risk assessment and management packages currently on the market, providing needed input data and a service provider independent data interchange mechanism.
  • Enables the completed SIG documents, which are by nature sensitive, to be signed and encrypted for safe and authenticated transmission between service providers and requesting institutions. QM for SIG uses industry standard AES encryption to ensure that your data remains secure while in transit.
